Do I Need An Air Fryer for These Bagels?

You can try these out in the oven, but this recipe is specifically meant for the air fryer! It’s no secret air fryers are all the rage this year, and for good reason.

We love our Ninja Air Fryer! I make crispy roasted carrots, healthier fries, chicken, and so much more. These bagels cook in just 6 minutes in our air fryer!

What You Need For Two Ingredient Dough Everything Bagels

Full recipe card at bottom of page!

For the dough, you’ll need 1 cup greek yogurt and 1 cup self-rising flour.

Additionally you’ll need 1 egg for eggwash, and some Everything But The Bagel Seasoning. You can find this at Trader Joes, or use my copycat recipe below!

Everything Bagel Seasoning

  • 1 tsp sesame seed
  • 1 tsp dried minced garlic/garlic flakes
  • 1 tsp onion flakes
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds (optional)

How to Make Two Ingredient Dough Everything Bagels

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and flour. Start with a rubber spatula, and finish forming into a ball with greased or floured hands.
  2. Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees for 3 minutes.
  3. Place dough onto floured countertop or cutting board.
  4. Cut dough into fourths.
  1. Roll pieces of dough into logs, and curl to form bagels. Pinch the ends together to seal.
  2. In a small bowl, beat egg for egg wash. Brush egg coating on top of the bagels.
  • Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top (either homemade or from TJ’s). You can also pour seasoning into a bowl and press the bagel into it. Either way, I do recommend lightly pressing the seasoning down onto the bagels to minimize losing it in the air fryer!

3. Air fry for 6-8 minutes on 350 degrees. No oil needed. Cooking time may vary based on your air fryer and how thick you’ve made your bagels, so make sure to monitor them.

4. Slice, top with cream cheese, and enjoy!

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31
