If I don’t have overnight oats, I have a smoothie with breakfast, or for breakfast almost every morning. They’re fast and simple to make, give me a good start on protein for the day, and they’re perfect for breakfast on the go.

If you’re thinking “Fast?! My stupid blender takes 10 minutes to make anything close to a liquid!Yes, fast. If you’re a smoothie lover like me, I can’t recommend the Ninja Blender or Ninja Blender System enough.

I dreaded making smoothies, margaritas, or anything of the like before we got our Ninja. This smoothie and any others I make are ready in 10-15 seconds, if that. If you don’t believe me, just look at the blade on this thing! The Ninja is easy to take apart, easy to clean, and easy to use.

I have smoothies so often, I have a few products I’ve come to use religiously!

If you use mason jars as much as we do, you’ve got to get these lids! While I use wide mouth lids, they have regular mouth as well.

These fit my pint size AND 24 oz wide mouth jars which is so handy! Whether I’m making homemade iced coffee, smoothies, or just water, these things get used daily!

They come in a pack of two, which was all my husband and I needed. I got these from Amazon, but they’re carried at Bed Bath and Beyond as well. Some reviews mentioned the person cracked the lid by tightening it too much and while I haven’t had any problems with cracks, be mindful of that! I’d buy these over and over again!

If you haven’t figured it out, our Ninja kind of turned me into a smoothie junkie. In comes the need for a good smoothie straw.

I got these reusable Bubba brand smoothie straws at Academy and can’t say enough about them! I’ve seen these at Target too. You can get these Bubba straws on Amazon as well, but the price seems to fluctuate.

There are also a ton of great options for reusable silicone straws on Amazon, like this 8 pack or this 6 pack, but whichever you choose, you won’t regret it!

While the mason jar lids come with a straw, I prefer these smoothie straws for thicker drinks, and they fit perfect into the lids! These are my two must have smoothie accessories!
